A room with a river view

The heated marble floors in the bathroom were bliss on cold mornings. Waking up to the tranquil river view was truly refreshing, bringing serenity to every moment.

Unfortunately, the wifi connection was sluggish during my stay, making it frustrating when trying to plan my day. It felt a bit outdated for such a luxurious hotel.

This hotel is truly a blend of charm and functionality. Rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The breakfast is delightful, especially with views of the Amstel River. While the dining options can be pricey, service stands out. Just be mindful of potential parking hassles and the need to reserve popular restaurant spots ahead of time.

From skeptic to superfan

Every staff member was proactive in ensuring our needs were met, from securing hard-to-get tickets to preparing thoughtful breakfast boxes for our early departure. The room's canal view was a calming sight each evening.

Limited parking options caused inconvenience, and slow breakfast service occasionally left us waiting for food items to be replenished. Additionally, clarity surrounding breakfast buffet inclusions could be improved for guest peace of mind.

Gourmet breakfast buffet delight

The hotel was beautifully situated, making it easy for us to walk to major attractions, like the Van Gogh Museum. Our Junior Suite had an amazing canal view, and the rooms were large and comfortable, which the kids loved after a long day of sightseeing.

great location but room size needs improvement

The location was unbeatable, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The staff truly stood out. they were attentive and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. We also enjoyed the lovely city view from our room, which added charm to our stay.

the option to use the spa while waiting for our room was great (needed that after our flight). enjoyed great river views from our room and amazing afternoon tea with delicious pastries. rented bikes which made exploring easy.

I truly enjoyed the elegant decor throughout the hotel, especially in the lobby area where plush seating and soft lighting create a welcoming ambiance. The accessibility features made navigating the hotel easy for me as a senior traveler.

l'europe amsterdam, the leading hotels of the world has a stunning location just a short walk from key attractions like the rijksmuseum and van gogh. the staff, especially the concierge, were incredibly helpful in getting us tickets to sold-out events. our junior suite with a canal view was spectacular and the bed was super comfortable.
